Ingredients

  • 1 package of ready-made round cocoa cake (split in half)
  • 1 package of labneh cheese
  • 300 ml milk
  • 1 cup of powdered sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of nescafe (instant coffee)
  • 3 heaping tablespoons of flour
  • 1 cup of water or milk (200 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar

Preparation

  1. Milk, powdered sugar, and flour are cooked in a bowl until it reaches a thick pudding consistency.
  2. It is cooled by mixing with a mixer, labneh is added, and beaten for a while longer.
  3. Dissolve 1 tablespoon of nescafe in 1 cup of warm milk or water. Add 1 tablespoon of sugar and vanilla. Thoroughly soak both sides of the cake with the coffee water or coffee milk.
  4. Vanilla can also be added to the pudding after it is cooked, at the same time as the labneh. It is also possible to add a spoonful of honey; if honey is added, the amount of sugar should be reduced.
  5. Half of the cream is spread on one piece of the cake and the other half is placed on top. The remaining cream is spread all over.
  6. Sprinkle cocoa powder over the top using a sieve. While sprinkling the cocoa, you can place a bottle cap or cookie cutters on top to create shapes. Or draw a heart shape on paper, place it in the center, and remove it to reveal the shape.
