- 1 cauliflower
- 2 eggs
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 1 pinch dill
- 1 pinch parsley
- 4 green onions
- 2 tablespoons grated cheddar cheese
- Black pepper, salt
- Vegetable oil for frying
Preparation
Cauliflower is separated into small pieces and boiled in enough water to cover it. The water is drained and it is mashed well. Eggs, flour, cheddar cheese, finely chopped parsley, dill, green onions, salt, and black pepper are added to it. It is mixed and fried by dropping spoonfuls into hot oil. It is served with yogurt.
You can also bake this recipe by adding about ½ tea cup of cream. When baking, it is necessary to add a little olive oil; wait in a preheated oven at 180 degrees, baking at 160 degrees until the top is cooked.
I boil cauliflower for a short time to serve with meat dishes, cut it vertically like a flower, then first dip it in egg yolk and then in cornmeal, and fry it.
Mandarin Orange Dressed Cauliflower Salad
I make its salad by cutting the cauliflower this way or by breaking off small pieces. You can mix any vegetable you like into it; parsley goes very well. I squeeze one mandarin orange; add grape vinegar and olive oil and let it rest for a while.
