Walnut; thanks to the antioxidant substances in its content, it protects the skin, enables cells to renew rapidly; cleanses skin spots caused by aging, pregnancy, and sun, and offers a solution to allergic skin problems like redness. Milk is a substance that has been preferred for centuries and nourishes the skin with the lactic acid in its content. Honey; thanks to its cell-renewing and antibacterial properties, it enables pimples and acne to heal quickly while minimizing blackhead formation. Mandarin juice has the property of renewing collagen tissue; the vitamin C and antioxidants in its content help the skin renew.

Ingredients

  • 4 walnut kernels
  • 1 teaspoon of honey
  • 1 teaspoon of mandarin or orange juice
  • 3 teaspoons of milk

Preparation and Application

Crush the walnuts in a mortar to a flour-like consistency. In a glass bowl, mix the walnuts, milk, and mandarin juice. Massage the mixture into your face and neck area. Wait 10 minutes and rinse with warm water.

Notes

You can apply the walnut mask once a week. To get the best result from the mask, apply it to opened skin pores after a hot bath. After the mask, wash the skin only with warm water; do not use soap.

It is not recommended for oily skin types to use this mask as they have a possibility of infection due to pimples. The mask application is also unsuitable for those with open wounds on the skin.

Eating 1-2 walnuts a day protects your body against heart and vascular diseases and prevents stress.
